Getting started with Substratal Hub
Substratal Hub is the one place to open your Substratal apps, read your notifications, manage your account and plan, and run your organizations. If you're staff or an app developer, it's also where you administer people, access, roles, applications and credentials.
The Hub is available on the web (hub.substratalapps.com), iOS and iPadOS, Android, macOS, Windows and Linux. Every version has the same screens, names and order, so these guides apply everywhere. Platform differences are called out where they matter.
How it's organized

You only see what you can use. If a section is missing, you don't have the permission it needs. Ask an administrator.

Status labels
Every status shows an icon and a word, never colour alone:
| Label | Means |
|---|---|
| Active | On and working |
| Scheduled | Starts later |
| Turned off | Paused by an administrator. Turning it back on restores everything. |
| Expired | A trial or subscription period ended |
| Revoked | Removed for good. Access would need a new grant. |
| No access | No path grants it |
| Invited | Waiting for the person to accept |
| Suspended | The account or app is on hold |
When something's wrong
The Hub shows a banner at the top of the screen (System states) when:
- you're offline: what's already loaded stays readable, and changes are turned off until you're back
- Substratal is unavailable, or you're making too many requests (with a countdown)
- your session ended, so you need to sign in again
- your version of the app uses an API version that's being retired, so update the app
